Social media was not really one of my favorite activities. However, about 25 years ago after being a victim of a break-in I began looking for ways to earn from home. Phone rings early one morning from my credit card company. The caller asked, "Are  you in Germany?" Strange, never been to Germany. I was informed that someone posing with my identity was trying to get back to America at the tune of nearly $3,000 at my unauthorized expense. Fortunately, after a bit of adjustment, phone calls and a new mindset I was cleared. Voltaire, the French Enlightenment writer, historian and philosopher, it is said one day when asked, "If you had one day to live what would you do?" replied, "I'd continue hoeing my garden". How does that strike you? There's a lesson, I think. We should be living one day at a time doing our best to make the most of our life's purpose. What better thing can we do?

Of my multifaceted interests is working with nature to produce something of value. I suppose even Voltaire might be impressed with the photograph depicting my continuing...! Much of the value is in the anticipation of creating a positive result.

Life indeed is about growing to become what we were intended to be. In all of nature only we humans have the unique capacity to add a special touch through brain power to direct our future. Take a look at the picture and see how you fit in the scheme to be your best. Are all your needs being met? Someone wisely stated: "Every tub must sit on its own bottom". That suggests responsibility in each of us. In the animal kingdom instinct makes possible survival. Humans must go beyond what comes naturally and plan out our lives and make decisions for survival and creating our own world. We can learn lessons from creatures in nature and use our unique brain power to subdue, survive and thrive. It's wonderful to be human and even more when we are well-rounded and complete as a superior creature of success.
